El Restaurante Vegetariano – Madrid

El Restaurante Vegetariano provided tasty delicious food with lots of variety to the menu. Lasagne, wholewheat quiche, pasta were just a few of the items on the menu. The food seemed seasonal and very fresh.

The Cuscus “Mediterraneo” was fluffy couscous with olives and dried tomatoes. This dish was a big portion as it came with ratatouille. So much flavour with the all of the vegetables of the ratatouille in the tomato sauce. The ratatouille was made up of chunky aubergine, courgettes, onion and green pepper.

The Stuffed Eggplant was a slightly lighter lunch option. Half of a grilled aubergine was stuffed with soy, onions, peppers, tomato sauce and carrots. This came with a small salad.

Lots of wooden furniture together with a tiled floor and arches gave El Restaurante Vegetariano a homely feel. The staff were so welcoming and even though it was coming to the end of their lunchtime opening, they were happy for us to dine in a relaxed atmosphere.

El Restaurante Vegetariano is a wonderful friendly restaurant which does fantastic vegetarian cuisine.
