I was most dissapointed with my afternoon tea at browns. I am diabetic and we informed the tea room 2 days before we went, yes there was diabetic cakes for me to eat which i must admitt were of a very poor standard they were tasteless compaired to the diabetic cakes i had had on a royal carribean cruise. what was more dissapointing though the sandwiches did not have any butter or mayonaise yes i can understand no mayonaise but no butter i think this was taking it to the extreme as people with diabetis are allowed butter and also margarine

I wholeheartedly agree with you about Brown's afternoon tea. And might I add that many of the tables are low, which is perfect for a proper afternoon tea.
