Prasad is a restaurant in West Yorkshire which specialises in Gujarati and South Indian cuisine. You may remember them from Gordon Ramsey’s Best Restaurant series where they were the runner up. They are the only Indian restaurant to have a 2 star AA Award for Culinary Excellence in Yorkshire.
The food at Prasad uses locally sourced ingredients, their own spice blends and the traditional and modern recipes are all lovingly prepared. The family run restaurant has a lot of history. It was started 22 years ago by the husband and wife team, Mohan and Kaushy Patel. The original site of Prasad was in Bradford where a launderette was converted into a deli. They are now at bigger premises in Drighlington which has their son Bobby as front of house and their daughter-in-law Minal Patel as the Head Chef.
