Gail’s – Highgate

It was one of those days where it was lucky to have the sun come out. So a walk around Waterlow Park was wonderful. It was made even better to be able to see all the fragrant flowers and to take in the relaxing scent of the lavender by Lauderdale House.

+ Que Pan – Madrid

+ Que Pan is a bakery and cake shop as well as a cafe. Fresh bread, baguettes and the cakes are on display behind the counter. There is a good variety and plenty to choose from.

Petrus – Stockholm

Following the scent of freshly baked bread from down the street, leads you to the lovely Petrus. The bakery may be small but it has plenty of good looking bread loaves, buns, sandwiches and traditional Swedish produce.

Pascal – Oslo

A rainy morning meant a breakfast near by to our residence. What could be better than trying out Pascal; a bakery that is well known for its products.

Boulangerie Bon Matin – Stroud Green

Pancakes/crepes are always forgotten about when it comes to weekend treats. Boulangerie Bon Matin is lovely place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even for tea and cake in the afternoon.

Yaki – Goodge Street

Yaki is a Japanese eatery and bakery in central London. It seemed like a good place to go for lunch especially as they did a One Bowl Meal on rice.

Maison Blanc – Hampstead

Maison Blanc is a nice French patisserie. It has a small takeaway counter as you enter. If you pass this and head to the back of the store, that is where the cafe area is. There is limited seating here but they also have tables outside. The cafe area is very light and airy. The service…
