Elder – Piece Hall, Halifax

Back in 1779, Piece Hall was a centre point of the cloth industry with it as a trading hall. In 2017, it was renovated and this glorious Georgian place is now home to independent shops, boutiques, cafes and restaurants.

Valentino -Bingley

Valentino is a traditional Italian restaurant with such a happy feel to it. All credit goes to the wonderful and friendly staff who made us feel us part of their family and provided a relaxed atmosphere. We left with our tummies full and a happy heart at the end of the evening.

Filmore & Union – Skipton

The historic market town of Skipton has a high street with quaint archways which open out into pockets of shops and a castle at one end of town. Skipton is also home to the well established family chocolatiers, Whitakers, who are famous for the classic mint crisps.

Kashmiri Aroma – Ilkley

As the name suggests, Kashmiri Aroma is all about the cuisine and flavours from Kashmir. From the outside, the restaurants looks a bit like a country pub. The interior is big and seems to extend out to different sectioned areas. Ornate wooden style paintings decorate the walls.

Minal Patel at Prasad – Drighlington

Prasad is a restaurant in West Yorkshire which specialises in Gujarati and South Indian cuisine. You may remember them from Gordon Ramsey’s Best Restaurant series where they were the runner up. 

Jeanette’s Cakery – Saltaire

A special day meant being taken out and treated to lunch and cake. Jeanette’s Cakery is infuenced by the 1940s and 1950s. It is a really cute cafe decorated with bird wallpaper, bunting, fairy lights, flowers in Colman mustard tins and pale blue cushioned seating. There is even a jukebox.

The Box Tree – Ilkley

It is not often that we dine at Michelin star restaurants so when we do, it makes it extremely special and memorable. It’s even more precious to share the dining experience with a loved one.

Jinnah – Bradford

Located a short distance from the main city centre of Bradford is Jinnah. It felt like it had a good vibe and it was very busy when we dined here.
