Autumn Drinks!

Welcome in the Autumn time with Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte! Normally, I don’t write about the chain coffee shops, but I just had to share this with you, as it is a delicious drink!

Renoir – Kentish Town

Renoir offers fresh, tasty healthy food in Kentish Town. Even the counter area oozes freshness with its displays of bowls of colourful fruits, salads in the fridge and other deli items.

The Iskele – Old Street

As we had come to The Iskele late lunchtime, we were expecting it to be fairly quiet. But it was the opposite, the restaurant was pretty much packed and so it was a good thing that I had made a reservation.

Woodlands – Hampstead

It is not very often that my mum gets a chance to come down to London. So on this special occasion, I decided to take her out for some dosas. Dosas are thin pancakes made from ground lentils and rice, which are then fermented.

Spice and Rice – Chalk Farm

Spice and Rice is about a ten minute walk from Chalk Farm tube station, but don’t let that put you off. This restaurant is nicely decorated, clean and has friendly staff. There are a couple of cosy seats by the entrance as well as the regular dining area.

Patisserie Valerie – Brunswick Centre

Patisserie Valerie can be recognised by its intricate signature cakes displayed in the shop window. Inside, there is dark wood furniture and counter fridges displaying savoury items as well as more cakes, croissants and pastries. The staff were friendly when we entered Patisserie Valerie and allowed us to choose where we’d like to sit.

The Brasserie on St John St – Angel

A beautiful hot summer’s day meant a lovely day to be dining al fresco. The outdoor area at this restaurant was enclosed by hedges, so it really did not feel like we were close to the main road.

Vacanze Romane – Rome (Piazza Navona)

Vacanze Romane is one of the many restaurants located on the Piazza Navona. We ended up choosing this one over the others as it looked fairly nice, had outdoor heaters and it wasn’t too busy.
