Radici – Angel

Opposite the Almeida Theatre, lots of greenery and a few benches mark the restaurant Almeida. The entrance is decorated with crates of fresh lemons, a lemon tree and cushioned seating.

Pastel de Nata

Pastel de Nata is a Portuguese custard tart. They are best when they are warm and ever so moreish. Our favourite place for the Pastel de Nata has to be Canela Cafe in Covent Garden.

El Restaurante Vegetariano – Madrid

El Restaurante Vegetariano provided tasty delicious food with lots of variety to the menu. Lasagne, wholewheat quiche, pasta were just a few of the items on the menu. The food seemed seasonal and very fresh.

Minal Patel at Prasad – Drighlington

Prasad is a restaurant in West Yorkshire which specialises in Gujarati and South Indian cuisine. You may remember them from Gordon Ramsey’s Best Restaurant series where they were the runner up. 

Top Ten -Cumbria And The Lakes

Head up to Cumbria and the Lake District, not only for the stunning scenery but also for some delicious foods. In Cartmel, you have the choice of dining at the two-Michelin star restaurant L’Enclume or take yourself for sticky toffee pudding at the Cartmel Village Shop.

Briki – Exmouth Market

Briki takes its place at one end of Exmouth Market. It specialises in Ethiopian Taf coffee as well as a Mediterranean inspired menu. Briki serves an all day menu including breakfast, lunch specials, sandwiches and loaf cakes. It is always good to see that all the food is covered and behind the counter glass front.

Spanish Olive Festival – Kings Cross

Do you like olives? Then you are in luck this weekend. The Spanish Olive Festival is happening from Friday 29th September to Sunday 1st October. It’s at the Canopy Market in Kings Cross and completely free to attend. Take your tastebuds on a wander at the Olive Tasting Station.

Creperie Beaurepaire – Lille

Wandering around the old town of Lille, the afternoon just passed by. Away from the busy main place, a cute quaint creperie was stumbled upon.

Rosa’s Thai Cafe – Islington

Autumn time is here with the month of September. With there being a chill in the air, there is a need for hot food compared to the cold summer salads. Rosa’s Thai Cafe in Angel looks fairly small from the exterior. A few window seats enable you to sit and watch the world pass by.
