Siaim – Finchley Central
If you fancy a good evening meal out in a relaxed environment in North London, then you should give Siaim a go. It is noticeable from the subtly changing colour of its sign outside. This continues into the interior of the restaurant, with the wall backlight gradually changing from colour to colour.
Crocodile Cafe – Muswell Hill
Crocodile Cafe is part of the Crocodile Antiques shop in Muswell Hill. You have the option of going through the shop to get to the cafe but I prefer the other way. The other entrance is next to the shop, down the green foliage plant filled aisle. Here you can pass by the fish pond with the carp.
The Sitara – Archway
As it was a week of ongoing celebrations, this meant that there were a fair amount of meals out. On this particular evening, we decided to stay local and opted for The Sitara.
Euphorium Bakery – Angel

It seemed like it was one of those places that if you saw an empty seat, you should grab it, otherwise it would get taken up fairly quickly.
Bouga – Crouch End
Entering through the grand entrance of Bouga makes you feel like you’ve been taken into a whole new world. There are the colourful lanterns hanging from the ceiling, welcoming sofas and chairs with scattered cushions and little alcoves displaying various ornaments.
ASK – North Finchley
After a fun afternoon of bowling with friends, we definitely had worked up an appetite. ASK was conveniently located next door to the bowling place, so it seemed like an easy option to go to.
Madam Chi Coffee Lounge – Angel
It is refreshing to have a coffee lounge that is open late into the evening and it’s all thanks to Madam Chi. At least you can go here and not have to worry about the time.
Papa Del’s – Highgate
Two huge wooden tables and long benches make up Papa Del’s communal dining area. There are also a few window seats.
