Monkey Nuts – Crouch End

Ever since Pick More Daisies closed down in Crouch End, I’ve always ventured further afield for brunch. That is until now; now that Monkey Nuts has been discovered.

Crocodile Cafe – Muswell Hill

Crocodile Cafe is part of the Crocodile Antiques shop in Muswell Hill. You have the option of going through the shop to get to the cafe but I prefer the other way. The other entrance is next to the shop, down the green foliage plant filled aisle. Here you can pass by the fish pond with the carp.

Euphorium Bakery – Angel

Euphorium Bakery is an extremely busy and popular one. Heading here on a weekend, it was pretty full, even though it had seating on the ground level and additional seating on a lower level too. It seemed like it was one of those places that if you saw an empty seat, you should grab it, otherwise it would get taken up fairly quickly.

Mishkin’s – Covent Garden

A big thank you goes out to my friend who introduced me to Miskin’s just before the Christmas break. He suggested trying this new restaurant when we decided to have a festive catch up.

Papa Del’s – Highgate

Two huge wooden tables and long benches make up Papa Del’s communal dining area. There are also a few window seats.

3 Oceans – Finchley

An afternoon tea with an Indian twist is what 3 Oceans provides. Gone away are the traditional scones and in come the vegetable samosas.

The Highgate Pantry – Highgate

The Highgate Pantry has a big display of tempting sweet things in its window! Cupcakes, fruit tarts, macaroons, fruit crumble slices, egg custards and the list goes on! An afternoon filled with tea, cake and the girls brought us to this bakery! We were spoilt for choice so we decided that the only way around that was…

GRAB Thai Street Kitchen – Old Street

Just a few minutes away from Old Street tube station, down a small side street, is GRAB Thai Street Kitchen. GRAB opened its doors in the summer but it has taken me a few months to finally go visit.

Brooklands Brasserie & Bar – Weybridge

Our Afternoon Tea started off with a choice of teas. We had the classic English Breakfast which was served by the pot. Next came our lovely sweet delights of homemade scones and selection of cakes.
