Brooklands Brasserie & Bar – Weybridge

There are no faults with Brooklands Bar and Brasserie. From the level of service from the friendly staff to the wonderful food, it was all great.

Our Afternoon Tea started off with a choice of teas. We had the classic English Breakfast which was served by the pot. Next came our lovely sweet delights of homemade scones and selection of cakes.

Big warm scones dusted with icing sugar and served with a good amount of clotted cream. We were given a few different jams, which included raspberry, strawberry and marmalade. Sliced fresh strawberries made a nice addition to the scones.

The two little cakes were very light and soft. One of them was filled with strawberry sauce and the other with chocolate sauce. Both were yummy. To finish the sweet treats, there was a little shot glass filled with vanilla mousse. This was topped with a rich chocolate sauce. The mousse had an airy texture to it and it was good that it was complimented with some chopped nuts too.

Brooklands Bar and Brasserie has bar seats, comfy sofa seats as well as a long seating section that runs in the centre of the dining area. The decor is pretty quirky with the centre pieces being silver turbine structures. There is also some rattan seating outdoors.

A lovely Afternoon Tea that can be enjoyed in the spacious, light and airy surroundings of Brooklands Brasserie and Bar.
