Feast on the Hill – Muswell Hill

Feast on the Hill is a place that I’d been meaning to go to for a while but just never got round to it. So when a friend suggested meeting there one weekend, it was the perfect chance to go try the place out. As it was a bright sunny Spring like day, there were…

Browns Bar & Brasserie – Angel

Browns feels more like a restaurant but you can go here just for drinks. There are wicker seats near the window, seats along the bar, and then there’s the big dining area. It has quite a nice relaxed atmosphere with its jazz music softly playing in the background. The atmosphere is also created by its soft lighting and dark wood decor.

La Porchetta – Camden Town/Chalk Farm

La Porchetta is a great Italian restaurant. I have always just had pizza at this restaurant, but this time, as I was with my brother, we also decided to sample some of their starter dishes.

Me Love Sushi – Swiss Cottage

With such a cute name such as Me Love Sushi, it is difficult not to fall in love with this restaurant. Me Love Sushi has quite a nice varied menu. It has lots of sushi items but also has hot dishes such as tempura, noodles and rice.

Sen Nin – Angel

Last weekend, I had the privilege of going out for dinner with my brother and spending some quality time with him. He chose the restaurant and I was not at all disappointed. I was introduced to Sen Nin: a Japanese tepannyaki and sushi restaurant in Angel.

Bakko – Muswell Hill

Bakko is a fantastic family run Turkish restaurant which serves food of the highest quality. There were so many things on the menu that took my fancy. It finally came down to a choice between some mezes or a main dish. I chose a few of the hot mezes so that I had some variety in my meal.

Med Kitchen – Angel

For some unknown reason, Med Kitchen has not been one of those places that I have wanted to try. I’m not sure why this has been the case for so long. But I’m so glad that we went to this restaurant and gave it a go. We really did have such a pleasant dining experience at this particular Med Kitchen in Islington.

Thai Pepper – Swiss Cottage

This is a cute Thai restaurant, which when you enter looks really small. We thought that it only had the four or so tables/booths. So we were surprised when we asked for a table, we were taken downstairs. I just assumed that the downstairs area would be the whole of the kitchen! On the lower…

Masala Zone – Camden Town

Masala Zone has quite an extensive menu with food that they say represents different regions of India. The food on the menu ranges from street food snacks, grills, noodles, curries and thalis. So quite a lot to choose from and there is something for everyone.
