Sometimes all you need is the classic burger and chips, and who better to share such an evening with, than with the family. Fine Burger Co is decorated with bright orange and white and light spheres hanging from the ceiling. The dining area feels quite spacious and clean.

The French Kitchen – Holborn
The French Kitchen has a real rustic, country like feel to it with its pine chairs and tables. The dining area is separated by the counter and till area. There is a small food store section near the entrance. The long bar area makes up one end of the interior and there is an open kitchen at the back section of the restaurant.
Constolia – Holloway
It’s always nice to meet friends for a weekday lunch, especially when it’s a Friday. So it feels like the weekend has started early. Constolia has a red and blue themed interior. The walls are decorated with various artwork pieces. The dining area is quite spacious.
Ziloufs – Angel
A late Friday afternoon is how we ended up at Ziloufs! We weren’t sure what we were expecting when we went into Ziloufs. We were after a relaxed afternoon with some tea! At Mestizo, you get something that is different and special. It’s not the first time that someone has recommended this Mexican restaurant, so I was more than happy to give it a try.
The Sitara – Archway
As it was a week of ongoing celebrations, this meant that there were a fair amount of meals out. On this particular evening, we decided to stay local and opted for The Sitara.
Yauatcha – Soho
For Chinese New Year this year, we were lucky to have our family member from overseas in town for it. To make it an extra special celebration, we went to Alan Yau’s Michelin-starred Yauatcha restaurant in Soho. This finally fulfilled yet another one of my dreams and that was to go and dine at a Michelin-starred restaurant.
