Sosharu – Farringdon

Sosharu has a sleekness to it. Even from the exterior, there is only a simple sign to indicate the restaurant. It could easily be mistaken as an office building. The inside entrance has the striking orange acer/maple leaf plants.

Cafe Amandine – Prague

Cafe Amandine gave a scrumptious French breakfast in Prague. Coffees to start the day off were an Americano and a decaffeinated Espresso. Both came on individual metal trays accompanied with a glass of water, a jug of milk and a surprise treat of a madeleine.

Bill’s – Angel

It’s hard to pick a venue for a big gathering and it can be a bit of a gamble when it is a place that has not been to before. The main thing is that you want everything to go smoothly from the service to the quality of the food.

Osteria Nova – Venice

Close to Venice train station is where Osteria Nova is located. To fuel ourselves for our travels, it had to be pasta for a late lunch.

Nosh Garden Kitchen – Bayswater

It’s great that nowadays it is easier to be able to eat out whatever dietary restrictions you may have, whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner or even afternoon tea that you fancy. Nosh Garden Kitchen specialises in a Vegan Afternoon Tea.

Semla Season

It’s that time of year to have Semla. Semla is associated with Lent.

Kashmiri Aroma – Ilkley

As the name suggests, Kashmiri Aroma is all about the cuisine and flavours from Kashmir. From the outside, the restaurants looks a bit like a country pub. The interior is big and seems to extend out to different sectioned areas. Ornate wooden style paintings decorate the walls.

Franco Manca – Angel

A friend had told me about the wonderful pizza at Franco Manca many years ago. This was when it had opened one of its first branches down in Brixton. Although Franco Manca has recently been popping everywhere, it is only now that Franco Manca has been visited. I trust my friend’s judgement of cafes and resturants and there’s not been a time when places haven’t lived up to high standards.

Pascal – Oslo

A rainy morning meant a breakfast near by to our residence. What could be better than trying out Pascal; a bakery that is well known for its products.
