Ciampini Cafe du Jardin – Rome (Spanish Steps)

Just at the top of the lovely Spanish Steps is Ciampini Cafe du Jardin. At first as we were walking past it, we noticed that it had a big outdoor eating area decorated with lots of greenery.

Patara – Regent Street

It is always nice to have family come visit. An added bonus is that it gives us a chance to explore and try new places to eat. This time, it was my cousin who had come over from LA. I was after a place near Oxford Circus as we needed to be close to the theatre, to get there in time for an evening show.

Waterloo Bar and Kitchen – Waterloo

When a friend of mine was going to be going out of the country for many months, it just wouldn’t have been right if we didn’t go for a leaving lunch.

Kipferl – Angel

For something a bit different, head to Kipferl, situated in the quirky Camden Passage. This Austrian/Viennese cafe has a relaxed feel to it. The cafe area is at the front and the small restaurant area is at the back. The cake counter divides the two areas. The restaurant area is casual too. There are a few seats outdoors.

Coco Bamboo – Camden Town/Chalk Farm

Caribbean and Brazilian food is cuisine that I have never tried before. It always sounds interesting but think that I have shied away from it, thinking that it would be too spicy for me.

Vapiano – Great Portland Street

Vapiano is like an upmarket fast food pasta and pizza restaurant. They have been clever in the way that they have done their set out, which means minimum work for the staff and more work for the customer. You are given a card on entry and you use this to record your food and drink orders.

Autumn Drinks!

Welcome in the Autumn time with Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte! Normally, I don’t write about the chain coffee shops, but I just had to share this with you, as it is a delicious drink!

Renoir – Kentish Town

Renoir offers fresh, tasty healthy food in Kentish Town. Even the counter area oozes freshness with its displays of bowls of colourful fruits, salads in the fridge and other deli items.

The Iskele – Old Street

As we had come to The Iskele late lunchtime, we were expecting it to be fairly quiet. But it was the opposite, the restaurant was pretty much packed and so it was a good thing that I had made a reservation.
