The Tapas Tree Restaurant- Shipley

It was a little daunting to introduce the family to a new cuisine. Personally, I am a big fan of Spanish food but I wasn’t sure if my mom would like it, even though she said that it would be fine.

Hiba Express – Holborn

Hiba Express always seemed to me that it was a takeaway place. This is the impression that I got from its name or maybe because at a quick glance, it looks like a really small eatery. But this is definitely not the case. It is a proper restaurant and it also does takeaways.

Down To Earth – Kensington High Street

Away from the busy shopping end of High Street Kensington and just after Holland Park is where Down To Earth is located. Down To Earth is an organic vegan and vegetarian cafe serving organic food, fairtrade coffees, speciality teas and ice cream.

Giovanni Rana Ristorante- Regents Place

Catching up with friends is always specialĀ even if it is only manageable at times for a weekday lunch. Hence, for this lunchtime, it needed to be somewhere central.

The Gate – Angel

Sometimes, we take it for granted when we live close to our friends. The regular meet ups, popping over to each other’s houses and going for that cup of tea. But when they move away to a different area, then it makes us realise how much we miss those casual get togethers.

Maison D’Etre – Highbury

After missing several events that a friend had organised, I had to put a date in the diary and meet up over coffee. It had been narrowed down to a choice of two locations, either somewhere near Spitalfields or near Highbury.

Joe Allen – Covent Garden

If you didn’t know that Joe Allen was along this very small quiet side street, it would not be the obvious place to look for a restaurant. It is hidden away from the all the main restaurants in Covent Garden.

Recipease – Notting Hill

It seems like we all go through phases with certain things and that can happen when it comes to going out to eat. There are times when similar types of eateries are gone to.
