Wellcome Kitchen – Euston
On the top floor of the Wellcome Collection is the Wellcome Kitchen. Spacious, clean and comfortable seating with cushions makes up the teal green restaurant area.
The Box Tree – Ilkley
It is not often that we dine at Michelin star restaurants so when we do, it makes it extremely special and memorable. It’s even more precious to share the dining experience with a loved one.
Krebs – Interlaken, Switzerland
After arriving in Interlaken and being welcomed by glorious sunshine, it felt right to start the afternoon with a drink and a sit down. Krebs has outdoor seating made up of square wicker chairs and wooden tables.
Vivo – Angel
Vivo had a wonderful range of Italian food organised and displayed in its covered glass 14 metre counter. The food display started off with calzone pizzas, then came the black soup cauldrons, followed by the anti pasti items, salads, cakes and then finally the wines.
Cafe Louvre – Prague
A misty day out at the majestic Prague Castle ended up taking us to a walk over the Vltava River via Charles Bridge. By this time, the clouds had parted and gave us a hot sunny blue sky day. A place that we had in mind for an early dinner was Cafe Louvre.
Le Pain Quotidien – South Bank
Le Pain Quotidien has branches all over London and the world. This particular branch has two floors with the lower level in the exposed brick railway arches. There is booth seating and also wooden tables and chairs. A big communal table is featured on both levels. Trains can be regularly heard at this cafe.
Olive Cafe – Hornsey
Olive Cafe oozes in friendliness in their family run cafe. It has such a happy, relaxed and welcoming feel to it. They know their regular customers really well but also make a lovely effort with new ones too. The staff give such wonderful personal service and they do honestly value all their customers.
La Bottega del Caffe – Venice
To escape the sudden downpour near the Rialto Bridge, La Bottega del Caffe was entered. Actually, we all welcomed the sit down and some time for tea, coffee and cake.
