This bistro doesn’t look all that from the outside but once you enter, it is a different story. It is very clean and the waiters dressed in black suits sets the tone for this bistro.
The staff were very friendly and service was really good. The food and coffee were of very high quality. We asked for eggs and toast. We were served with scrambled eggs which tasted great and the toast was warmed slices of fresh white bread. The butter, strawberry preserve and marmalade was plenty for the toast.
The cafe creme is a latte. We were given a jug of hot milk in addition to the coffee which meant that two cups of coffee could be made.
The interior setting was designed by Christian de Portzamparc. Quite relevant since Cafe Beauboug is situated on the square with the Centre Georges Pompidou.
