The Due Torri, the Two Towers are a landmark of Bologna and can be seen towering the city. Close to the Due Torri is this coffee and pastry shop. It is exactly what we were after for a sit down and a recharge coffee in the afternoon.
Impero has a sweet pastry and cakes covered counter as well as a savoury items counter. All of the food looked fresh, colourful and very tempting. There is seating indoors and outdoors. The staff are helpful and friendly and provided good service.
Accidently a Latte Bianco (hot milk) was ordered instead of a Latte Macchiato. So an espresso shot was ordered after and then mixed into the hot milk. This made for a good tasty coffee. An almond milk decaf Americano was the other hot drink consumed. This was lovely as well.
Impero was a great place for a coffee break before more explorations around the city.
