Many places do Afternoon Tea including cafes and restaurants but having it in a hotel seems to make it extra special. A weekend afternoon with the girls meant treating ourselves to such an Afternoon Tea.
Jen Cafe – Chinatown
Jen Cafe is a casual eatery of the no fuss kind of a place. The star attraction of this cafe has to be the handmade dumplings. These can be seen being made in the front of the shop and in the shop window.
Royal Gastropub – Oslo
Royal Gastropub resides in the oldest part of the old Oslo train station. This train station had a big refurbishment in 2015 and now has Østbanehallen: a modern food court and boutique shops.
Tutti’s – Holborn
Tutti’s is a lovely cafe which feels spacious as soon as you walk in. There are tables outside as well as additional seating on the lower level.
CrepeAffaire – Angel
A fun filled craft day at the Country Living Fair included making paper flowers, felt animals and fabric printing. After all this introduction to the various crafts, our tummies were in the need for food.
Jinnah – Bradford
Located a short distance from the main city centre of Bradford is Jinnah. It felt like it had a good vibe and it was very busy when we dined here.
Saltaire Local Shops
Please help to protect the local shops in the village of Saltaire. Bradford Council are banning A boards, which is having a detrimental effect on local businesses. Please sign the petition, it only takes a few minutes. Thank you
Tonkotsu – Southwark
London is a city where diners are spoilt for choice. Whatever cuisine is fancied, it can be found. Ramen restaurants have been popping up all over, but this was the first time that I had the chance to try it.
Mediterraneo – Kings Cross
A weekday evening, a group of friends and a place was already in mind for the evening meal. Unfortunately the Japanese Vegan restaurant that we were going to go to had closed by the time we got there.
