Celebrations are important and it’s good to acknowledge achievements, no matter how big or small. After an intense and busy couple of months, that was exactly what our evening out at Gallipoli Again was. A time to relax, catch up and reflect on the successes of the past few months.
Salvador and Amanda – Bloomsbury
Salvador and Amanda is a Spanish restaurant focussing on tapas. It has more of a bar like informal environment. There are small booth sections on the raised levels. The little white washed alcoves have cushioned seating and small buffets.
Boulangerie Bon Matin – Stroud Green
Pancakes/crepes are always forgotten about when it comes to weekend treats. Boulangerie Bon Matin is lovely place for breakfast, brunch, lunch or even for tea and cake in the afternoon.
Yaki – Goodge Street
Yaki is a Japanese eatery and bakery in central London. It seemed like a good place to go for lunch especially as they did a One Bowl Meal on rice.
Sea Fish – Angel
It has been a while since the Rate My Bistro team have been out together to review a place. Normally, we may just head to one of our many favourite places. This time, fish and chips was the food of choice for a late lunch.
The Oak Tree Restaurant – Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford
Having a big get together with friends is always harder than one thinks it would be. Everyone has their own schedules and weekends get booked up fairly fast. After fifteen years of first meeting each other, and now with some of the friends having children in tow, we managed it.
Taste of Siam – Camden
It had been a while since my friend and I had been out for Thai food and we were kind of missing it. So we took it for a sign when we were supposed to go out for Greek food and the restaurant could not take us as they were fully booked for a private party.
Cinnamon Village – Tufnell Park
A sunny afternoon gave us the chance to head to Ruby Violet for some decadent ice cream. It’s another story but briefly, Ruby Violet is a real treasure.
The Tapas Tree Restaurant- Shipley
It was a little daunting to introduce the family to a new cuisine. Personally, I am a big fan of Spanish food but I wasn’t sure if my mom would like it, even though she said that it would be fine.
