My Old Dutch Pancake House – Holborn

The pancakes here are big and definitely enough to share between two people. They are different to the traditional french crepes, the ones that are folded into triangles.

Rose Cottage Cafe – Castleton

No one should ever visit the historic Castleton in Hope Valley without trying the delicious food and drinks on offer at the Rose Cottage Cafe.

Situated in the heart of the Peak District National Park is a little village called Hope, home of the Woodbine Cafe.  A small cosy cafe ideal for ramblers to grab a warm drink and a quick snack (in my honest opinion).

Candid Cafe – Angel

This is a surprising little cafe tucked away from the busy Upper Street and City Road. The cafe has an outdoor courtyard area but to actually get to the indoor cafe, keep climbing the narrow stairs till you reach the top.

Bettys Cafe Tea Rooms – York

The heart of York city centre is the location for this renowned tea room. The decor is nice and it has the feel of an established tea room.

Sable D’or – Muswell Hill

This French patisserie is a fantastic place to go at any time of the day, especially for breakfast. This is when the croissants, pastries, breads and cakes are all freshly baked.

inSpiral Lounge – Camden Town

The inSpiral Lounge overlooks the Camden Locks and has a very new age feel to it.  All the food is organic and delicious, not to mention reasonably priced.
