Aso Konditori & Bageri – Stockholm

An early Sunday morning in Stockholm gave us the chance to head to a recommended bakery for breakfast. Seen as it was the season for Semla, there was no doubt what we were going to have.

Funky Chocolate Club – Interlaken, Switzerland

Switzerland and chocolate are two things that are associated with each other. So it was quite surprising when all the places that we had gone to for hot chocolate just gave a cup of milk accompanied on the side with a sachet of hot chocolate to mix yourself.

The Travel Cafe – Holloway

A cold day and a hot coffee go hand in hand. The Travel Cafe is a wonderful cute cafe. Clean, spacious, exposed lighting, brick walls and the travel theme in the decor makes up the interior. There are wooden tree/log tables which add to the quirkiness.

Pascal – Oslo

A rainy morning meant a breakfast near by to our residence. What could be better than trying out Pascal; a bakery that is well known for its products.

The Old Loom Mill, Tea Room – Hailsham

Hailsham is home to my favourite caravan park and camping site, Peel House Farm and it was while visiting friends there, taking a stroll together along the Cuckoo Trail that I discovered The Old Loom Mill tea room and crafts centre.

Jeanette’s Cakery – Saltaire

A special day meant being taken out and treated to lunch and cake. Jeanette’s Cakery is infuenced by the 1940s and 1950s. It is a really cute cafe decorated with bird wallpaper, bunting, fairy lights, flowers in Colman mustard tins and pale blue cushioned seating. There is even a jukebox.

Krebs – Interlaken, Switzerland

After arriving in Interlaken and being welcomed by glorious sunshine, it felt right to start the afternoon with a drink and a sit down. Krebs has outdoor seating made up of square wicker chairs and wooden tables.

Le Pain Quotidien – South Bank

Le Pain Quotidien has branches all over London and the world. This particular branch has two floors with the lower level in the exposed brick railway arches. There is booth seating and also wooden tables and chairs. A big communal table is featured on both levels. Trains can be regularly heard at this cafe.

Café Knus – Malmö, Sweden

If dog friendly cafes are your thing and you just happen to be in Malmo Sweden, then you are going to want to visit Cafe Knus. Situated in the middle of Vastra Ronneholmsvagen between Tornskarsgatan and Edward Lindahlsgatan, a quiet scenic area with some interesting architecture.
