La Pattaca – Paris (Grands Boulevards)

This was an average Italian restaurant. If you were seated away from the window, then it felt a little too dark inside this restaurant. The bread that was given did not taste very fresh. We ordered minestrone soup and tortellini alla panna. When I asked the waiter if the minestrone soup was vegetarian, he agreed…

Don’t Tell Titus – Saltaire

A newish bistro and restaurant located in the World Heritage Site of Saltaire village. It was a nice place with lots of comfy seats. We sat downstairs at the back of the bistro with our pots of tea. We felt quite relaxed as the bistro wasn’t busy when we were there in the afternoon. The wooden floors…

Cafe Beaubourg – Paris (Hotel de Ville)

This bistro doesn’t look all that from the outside but once you enter, it is a different story. It is very clean and the waiters dressed in black suits sets the tone for this bistro.

The Banana Tree Canteen – Angel

A great oriental restaurant to go for if you want good food and you want it quick. It has a similar feel to the Wagamama restaurants. I liked the open kitchen which formed part of the dining area and this restaurant had friendly staff.

Bread and Roses – Paris (Saint-Placide)

We stumbled across this bistro while wondering around the Jardin du Luxemburg area and what a find it was. They do the best pain aux raisins and pain au chocolat, very buttery and flaky pastry.

Fire and Stone – Covent Garden

This is a pizza restaurant with a difference; it has the biggest range of pizzas that I have seen on a menu. They have pizzas named after places around the world and the names reflect the ingredients used on the pizza! The Byron Bay pizza had great flavours with its toppings of mixed mushrooms, garlic and rosemary roasted potatoes,…

Hache Burger Connoisseurs – Camden Town

If you are looking for a tasty burger made from quality ingredients, then this is the restaurant for you. The flower fairy lights help to set a romantic atmosphere.
