This bistro had a really nice feel to it as soon as we entered. There were a few different seating areas including the window seats with cosy cushions. A nice place to relax and enjoy food and drink.
As I looked around Veritas, it was clear to see that they have put effort into the decor. They have hidden alcoves with additional seating and also high chair seats.
The homemade chunky hand cut chips were perfect, soft on the inside and crunchy on the out. They were like potato wedges. The chips were lightly coated in herbs. Great for a cold day to go with the hot drinks.
The mochachino was good and a nice alternative to the latte. The Baileys liqueur coffee was also a good drink and the taste of the Baileys definitely came through.
The service was fantastic and the staff were really friendly. It felt that we could have spent a long time relaxing at Veritas, enjoying the food and drink.
