Olive Cafe oozes in friendliness in their family run cafe. It has such a happy, relaxed and welcoming feel to it. They know their regular customers really well but also make a lovely effort with new ones too. The staff give such wonderful personal service and they do honestly value all their customers.
The Olive Cafe menu takes up one wall with the handwritten chalk board. Colourful lanterns hang from the criss cross grid from the ceiling. Various inspirational quotes are written around the restaurant. The dining area is fairly spacious.
Olive Cafe specialises in Mediterranean cuisine but they also do breakfasts, salads, smoothies, cakes, coffees and teas. A bread basket with seeded topped fresh bread was given to go with the mixed mezze. The mixed mezze consisted of grilled halloumi, spicy sausage, falafel and hummus. All of it was freshly made and it was a generous portion.
The staff made customised milkshakes for the kiddies. These definitely went down well! Fresh mint leaves infused the hot water in the big cup of the mint tea.
Olive Cafe does great fresh food and drinks. It is always good to see a nice friendly family run eatery.
