Café Knus – Malmö, Sweden

If dog friendly cafes are your thing and you just happen to be in Malmo Sweden, then you are going to want to visit Cafe Knus. Situated in the middle of Vastra Ronneholmsvagen between Tornskarsgatan and Edward Lindahlsgatan, a quiet scenic area with some interesting architecture.

Olive Cafe – Hornsey

Olive Cafe oozes in friendliness in their family run cafe. It has such a happy, relaxed and welcoming feel to it. They know their regular customers really well but also make a lovely effort with new ones too. The staff give such wonderful personal service and they do honestly value all their customers.

La Bottega del Caffe – Venice

To escape the sudden downpour near the Rialto Bridge, La Bottega del Caffe was entered. Actually, we all welcomed the sit down and some time for tea, coffee and cake.

Axis Bar & Restaurant at Hilton Hotel – Angel

The table was set for a wonderful Afternoon Tea with close friends to celebrate a milestone achievement. A black treasure chest full of the colourful array of Twinings teas was presented to us by Axis. There was Traditional English, Earl Grey, Assam, Peppermint, Green Tea, Red Berry and Camomile all in tea pouches. Throughout the afternoon, the staff gave us the choice to have different teas.

Yerbabuena – Madrid

Finding pure vegetarian food in Madrid can be a slight challenge. Then like buses, two come at once. One was a vegetarian/vegan buffet place and then just opposite was Yerbabuena.

Studio Kitchen at K West Hotel – Shepherd’s Bush

Family and friends are what keeps us grounded in life. It’s important to spend time with both. True friendships stand the test of time, no matter how busy life gets. It felt very lucky to be asked to share a day with a close friend and her pampering relaxing birthday treat. To top off the day, we decided to dine in the Studio Kitchen restaurant that was part of the K West Hotel.

Papayou – Nice, France

Nestled in the narrow streets of the old town area is where Papayou is located. All of the food is prepared with fresh market produce and there are Nicois dishes as well as Thai ones. The decor is quite quirky with colourful artwork and structures.

Piacha Tea Bar – Angel

Piacha was noticed many many months ago by one of the Rate My Bistro team. It looked like “our type of place” with lots of teas and comfy seating.

Bird Thais – Amsterdam

Bird Thais restaurant has been awarded the “Thai Select” seal of approval for Thai cuisine. The restaurant was very busy even though it is spread over two levels.
