Chicken Wings and Drumettes

The chicken wings can be left whole or separated into the wing piece and drumette. The chicken can be marinated overnight in the fridge before cooking.

Recipe (salt free, oil free),
Serves 2-3,
Chicken wings, skinless – 1kg
Onion chopped – 1
Smoked paprika – 1tbsp
Dried oregano – 1tsp
Garlic powder – 1tsp
Lemon juice – 1tbsp
Sweet potato, cut into chunks – 1/2

Oven temperature 200°C
Blend together the onion, lemon juice, paprika, oregano and garlic powder so that it is a paste. Cut the chicken wings into 2 pieces so that the wing and small drumstick is separated. Mix the chicken pieces with the onion paste. Put the sweet potato chunks in a baking dish. Place the chicken pieces on top of the sweet potato. Roast in the oven for 45 minutes until the chicken is cooked.
