Brother Marcus looks like a small coffee shop from the outside. The entrance is a solid blue door that has the “Come Inside” sign. The restaurant instantly has a welcoming atmosphere and a rustic feel to it. Green plants are entwined onto frames along the walls. Everything else is wooden including the wall panels and furniture.
Monsieur Georges – Toulouse
Although Monsieur Georges is situated in Place St Georges, it is secluded from the main square with plants and vegetation. The outdoor seating by the entrance initially looks fairly small but then there is additional seating over the grass way.
Ole & Steen – St James’s Market
Ole & Steen is in the new St James’s Market, located just off Haymarket. As expected for a central location, this Danish cafe was extremely busy. Even though it had seats on the entrance level, outdoor seats, upper and lower level seating, it was tricky to get a few seats together.
Il Pezzo di Giuseppe – Madrid
Il Pezzo di Giuseppe was situated in a lively part of Madrid with the area having a good atmosphere in the evening. This restaurant had outdoor seating in the piazza.
Arabesque – Swiss Cottage
An early movie meant that was plenty of time for dinner afterwards. Around Swiss Cottage, there seems to be a limited amount of places to dine. Most of them are more towards Finchley Road such as Zizzi and Sprinkles Gelato.
La Ruche de Bijenkorf – Utrecht
After a wonderful walk along the canal front, there was the hope of coming across an enticing cafe. But all the cafes that were come across looked small and busy. So it was decided just to head to the train station and see where the adventure would go.
South West Bistrot Ramblas Lounge – Toulouse
At certain times of the year, the South West restaurant is closed and the same menu is served in the sister eatery of the South West Lounge.
Dishoom – Kings Cross
What can be better than seeing a movie with friends? When it then becomes a dinner outing to complete the day. Luckily for us, Kings Cross has an array of restaurants including Dishoom.
Pasticceria Mennella – Naples
By making the most of the bright blue sky sunny day with a gorgeous walk along the Lungomare, the morning coffee was missed. It was worth it though as beautiful views of the castle and Mount Vesuvius were taken in. A walk around the Chiaia and Santa Lucia district allowed a stop of at Pasticceria Mennella.
