A tin of chickpeas is transformed into a crunchy savoury moreish snack.
Recipe (salt free, oil free, sugar free):
Serves 1-2,
Tin of chickpeas, rinsed and drained – 1 (400g tin)
Paprika – 1tsp
Fresh thyme, leaves only, chopped – 1 sprig
Fresh rosemary, chopped – 1/2 sprig
Lemon juice – 1/4tsp
Cracked black pepper – 1/8tsp
Oven temperature 200°C
Pat dry the chickpeas. Mix all of the ingredients with the chickpeas. Put on a baking tray. Roast for 20 minutes in the oven or for 15 minutes in the air fryer. Shake the chickpeas halfway through the cooking time.
